AVT offers a large choice of FireWire and GigE Vision® cameras for machine vision, computer vision, and other industrial or medical applications. Cameras by AVT include sensitive machine vision sensors (CCD and CMOS, VGA to 16 megapixels) and fit a wide range of applications. The camera-integrated Smart Features enable numerous camera control options and can be used to produce outstanding image quality.

The AVT Adaptor for MATLAB Image Acquisition can be used to access all features of AVT's high-performance IEEE-1394 FireWire and GigE Vision compliant digital cameras from within the MATLAB and Simulink environments. Image Acquisition Toolbox provides a consistent interface to all supported devices and allows users to acquire data directly in MATLAB for analysis, visualization, and modeling. The AVT Adaptor for MATLAB Image Acquisition is based on AVT’s interface-independent UniAPI provided with the AVT Universal Package and can easily be installed via an installer executable. With the adaptor, AVT camera users are able to access more camera features than available through open standards. Therewith, MATLAB and Simulink users can go further in leveraging AVT cameras to solve image processing problems.
